Prohibited Activities

- Attempting to disrupt, interfere with, or degrade the operation of any network, service, or equipment.
- Monitoring, scanning, or probing networks without explicit permission.
Network Abuse
- Generating broadcast storms, ‘Jabber’ events, or misconfigured devices that degrade network performance.
- Failing to implement loop prevention technologies such as STP where applicable.
- Using the service in a manner that risks denial of service to others.
Spam, Malware, and Abuse
- Sending unsolicited commercial or bulk email (UCE/UBE), or mass mailing large attachments (‘mailbombing’).
- Hosting an open relay or open proxy server.
- Distributing malicious software (e.g., viruses, trojans, spyware).
- Attempting to conceal or falsify the origin of communications (‘spoofing’).
Inappropriate Content and Communication
- Transmitting or storing material that is unlawful, harmful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, anti-social, or otherwise objectionable.
- Using services to harass, threaten, abuse, stalk or otherwise violate the legal rights of others.
- Cross-posting or spamming USENET or similar groups in violation of group rules.
Intellectual Property Infringement
- Hosting, sharing, or distributing content that infringes copyright, trademark, patent or other proprietary rights without authorisation.
Illegal Activity
- Any use of the service in contravention of Isle of Man law or applicable international law.
- Use of the service for criminal activity, including fraud, identity theft, terrorism, or the distribution of illegal material.
- Use of the service in a manner that breaches financial services laws or regulatory obligations, including those related to banking, insurance, credit, securities, and investment business in any jurisdiction.
Breach of Instructions
- Use of the service in breach of specific instructions issued by Noventre regarding system configuration, usage limitations, security requirements, or corrective actions.
Service-Specific Requirements
ISP Services
- You must not resell or redistribute the internet service without prior agreement.
- Bandwidth usage must remain within fair usage limits.
Telecoms Services
- You must not use telephony services for auto-dialling, robocalls, spoofing, or otherwise abusive calling practices.
- Caller ID must not be falsified. You must comply with any applicable telecoms regulations in the Isle of Man.
IT Services
- You may not disable, or bypass security controls implemented by Noventre.
- Installation of unauthorised software on managed endpoints is prohibited.
- Account sharing and insecure practices that risk data confidentiality are not permitted.
Excessive Usage & Fair Use
Where usage limits (e.g., bandwidth, call minutes, storage) are defined by your agreement, exceeding these may result in:
- Additional charges
- Throttling or restriction of service
- Suspension or termination in extreme or repeated cases
Security & Privacy
While we implement robust security practices, the internet is an inherently open environment. Users are responsible for securing their systems and data. This includes using strong passwords, enabling two-factor authentication, and regularly updating software. Data sent over the internet may be intercepted or altered. Noventre accepts no liability for data loss or unauthorised access beyond our reasonable control.
Enforcement
Violation of this policy may result in:
- Immediate suspension or termination of services
- Investigation by Noventre’s compliance team
- Notification to law enforcement where appropriate
- Recovery of costs incurred due to the breach
Noventre Limited is not obliged to monitor content or activity but reserves the right to do so to enforce this policy and protect its services and users.
Cooperation with Authorities
We will cooperate with law enforcement and regulatory authorities in the Isle of Man and other relevant jurisdictions where legally required or appropriate.

Legal Framework
